When we were approached by one of our clients who manages a decking company to expand their offering to include garden rooms we were more than happy to help.
This new offering was started by an existing customer simply asking could you also build me a garden room on top of the decking and the our client said why of course we can do that for you.
After setting about construction and utilising the electrician they use when fitting deck lights to provide a powered garden roomthey realised that this was another service offering they could provide to customers moving forward.
The customer was so pleased with the end results that it made absolute sense for these guys to proactively offer garden offices and garden rooms in Sheffield, which perfectly complimented their decking skill set.
Our start point was to asses what the current online market place was like for garden rooms on that area. Unfortunately there were some national and regional companies specialsing in garden and office rooms who as welll as offering a bespoke service also offered off the shelf self construction options too. This meant as an e-commerce site it would be very difficult and costly to thry to rank above them.
Therefore we looked at complementing the website offering with social media aactivities to promote awareness of our client's new service as well as using SEO to rank for garden rooms. Part of our research revealed that Sheffield Garden rooms was a popular tea house which had many searches however to compete for this would have been a wasted effort.
